Weleski Home Moving Service

I was driving the Interstate the other day when I saw an oversize load traveling in the opposite direction. A convoy was moving an entire house intact — it was quite a production. “Well,” I thought “that’s one way to handle the packing.”

Moving Everything but the Kitchen Sink

I’m going to tell you about a slightly different home moving service, look one where everything moves except the house.movers and family in front of moving van

Over the years, our company has provided this home moving service according to one simple principle:  Make it easy for the customer to feel at home.

That’s why the first word in “home moving service” is “home.” It sums up the feeling we want you to have. We want you to feel at home with the entire moving process. And it is a process. Not a rigid process, but a flexible one that fits your family as comfortably as your favorite slippers.

Home Moving is Stressful

I’ve read lots of moving websites and blogs. I’m struck by how many tend to overlook or make light of the emotional component of moving. But emotions are very real. Moving is stressful for all kinds of reasons. You’re leaving a place that has been your family’s home, a place with good friends and fond memories. Love, celebrations, feelings of belonging. Now, you’re going someplace new, and you’re not sure what to expect. You have about a zillion things to do before moving day—on top of your usual day-to-day responsibilities.

You may be one of the few who take such adventures in stride, with more confidence than a stage full of Presidential candidates.  Good for you!  But, most of us are wary, if not fearful, of the new, the unseen, the unknown. And moving is all of that.

So, we, as professional movers, approach home moving service with sensitivity to your feelings. Our first job, before we touch a single piece of furniture, is to provide guidance. We’ll let you know exactly what to expect, when to expect it, and what you can do to make your move easy for you.

Cleveland: A Great Place to Work and Play

Cleveland has come a long way over the last few decades to become a world class destination for living, buy working, and visiting. One of the most recent feathers in its fedora is being chosen as host city for the 2016 Republican Convention. There will be drama!

You’ve heard of LeBron James, star of the Cleveland Cavaliers. And you know the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is in Cleveland (home to that famous, sparkling white glove worn by the “King of Pop”). These are but two of the attractions galore you’ll find in this community on the shore of Lake Erie.

Take the Cleveland Aquarium, for example. It has over 5,000 awesome creatures in freshwater and salt-water tanks. You can “get jiggy” with the critters if you’ve a mind… stroke a stingray or swim with sharks. Not for the faint of heart! Cleveland, Ohio skyline

If you’re into art, check out the Cleveland Museum of Art. It’s one of the finest in North America, and admission to the permanent collection is free. A recent $350 million renovation makes it a must-see on your list of attractions. Another must-see: the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, especially if you like dinosaurs.

When someone sang that it’s happening at the zoo, I’m pretty sure they were referring to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. It’s huge, and hugely fun. It’s also home to one of the larger collections of monkeys and apes in the country.

Cleveland has no shortage of gastronomic delights, from restaurants spanning every genre to wineries to breweries, including the Hofbräuhaus where you can eat, drink, dance, and release your inner German. If you’re wanting to do your own cooking, check out over 100 food vendors in the West Side Market. You’ll be amazed at the quality and variety of foods.

If your musical tastes tend toward the classical, you might like to know the Cleveland Orchestra is considered by some to be the best in the world. And the antique ambience of Severance Hall makes for a magical musical venue. You’ll be transported.

We’ve only scratched the surface of what you can see and do here. With so much activity, people are coming and going all the time. The same is true for people moving in and out. Which is why Weleski Cleveland movers maintains a full-service branch location just outside Cleveland in Brooklyn, Ohio. When you plan a move to Cleveland or Northern Ohio, contact us!
