Atlas Van Lines

In 1963, Tony Weleski made a decision to join a national van line. Although he was courted by all of the major van lines, Tony knew that the Atlas Van Lines had a sterling reputation for delivering the best and most consistent customer service.

What does joining Atlas mean for our customers? Weleski has trusted moving and storage partners in every state, which means that we are near our customers no matter where they reside. The Weleski family now has over 350 locations to serve you. We can extend our VIP relocation service anywhere, anytime. Our partnership with Atlas strengthened dramatically when, in 1974, Weleski became an owner of the Atlas Van Line company. Weleski was one of several Agents who purchased the van line and placed its own management into Atlas to ensure a continued focus on excellent and cost-effective customer service.

Atlas Van Lines is now the second largest carrier of household goods in the world. Therefore, when we say “no job is too large or too complex,” we have the infrastructure to support that statement. No matter what you need to move or store—household goods (including pool tables), office furniture, complex electronic equipment, trade show materials, boats, automobiles or motorcycles—Weleski and Atlas provide the best option available for you. With over fifty thousand shipments per year managed, moved, packed and stored, the team of Weleski and Atlas is the best choice for your family or your company.

American Moving and Storage Association (AMSA)

Weleski Transfer and Atlas are both members of AMSA, a non-profit trade association (dedicated to advancing the moving and storage industry) that was established in 1936. AMSA offers Weleski essential business tools and resources to help expand our business and professional network. Membership in AMSA is governed by a Code of Ethics; violation of this code results in loss of membership with AMSA. Weleski is a proud member of the AMSA.

The ProMover program, launched by AMSA, promotes ethical principles in the moving and storage industry and works with federal and state governments to address and mitigate unethical moving practices. The ProMover program separates professional movers from rogue operators masquerading as legitimate movers.
