1.Head To A Show

You can find many concerts and shows in multiple venues around Pittsburgh. There is something for everyone’s taste whether that happens to be rock, pop, classical, theatre and anything in between.



2.Check Out The Museums

Happen to be there on a cool or rainy day? Escape the city’s weather by heading into one of the many museums. There’s the Andy Warhol Museum, the largest single artist museum in North America, the Carnegie Museums, the Mattress Factory, Randyland and many more.



3.Explore Phipps Conservatory And The Pittsburgh Zoo

While great for kids, the zoo and conservatory can be a great throwback for adults as well.



4.Soak Up Some Views On Mount Washington

Mount Washington offers one of the best views of Pittsburgh. There are also plenty of food and drink options there as well that make the trip well worth it.



5.Take In The Strip District

The Strip District is a great place to experience Pittsburgh’s cultural diversity. It provides a wide variety of meat markets, produce, ethnic grocers, restaurants and other vendors. There are also different tours that can help familiarize you with the area.



6.Catch A Pirates Spring Training Or Regular Season Game

Nothing says spring like heading to the ballpark for a game. And a perk? Ballpark food and drinks! Starting in early March you can head out to PNC Park for a ballgame.

8.Visit The Oldest Restaurant In Pittsburgh

The Original Oyster House is located in Market Square and first opened in 1870. It is now a designated historic landmark where old Pittsburgh photos and memorabilia line the walls and delicious cuisine is served.
